Hello all. I have been a fan of literotica.com for many years now. I accidentally stumbled upon the site while surfing porn. I spent many nights jerking off to the sexy stories. I then became a member of another site that mainly caters to vids and pics. Even though members are able to post stories and blogs, the stories weren't as sexy as the one I've read here. I posted stories on the other site but, really wanted to post on the "sexy site". So now I am back on Literotica but, this time, as a member.
I got to say when I wrote my first story ,the other day, I was simply trying to write something exciting I thought some one might get off on. After all, this is why I come here and I thought every one else did too. I had no idea this was something else. I realize you guys are really serious about you craft. This is so much more then trying to get people of. Cause really, when you are trying to bust a nut, who the hell cares about grammar?
My first attempt was rejected for not being properly written. I did not get upset. I know I am no "writer". My eyes were open to whom I was actually keeping company with on this site. I took the constructive criticism and resubmitted. This time my story was accepted. I felt good to be able to go back, put in a better effort and get some thing approved. But even though it was accepted I was hit with all kinds of mean and dis tasteful comments.
I am greatful to those who gave constructive criticism and those who enjoyed my story and commented so. I will continue to take on this challenge, undeterred by those who may be good writers but obviously have no class.

I'm sure someone will care. Just not me.

The ability to accept constructive criticism and reject the rest will serve anyone well in life. Sounds like you are taking it well in stride. Welcome.

I think it's great when new authors come to the site.

I've attempted to masturbate while reading the stories, but it never works. Instead, I just read a bunch until I'm sufficiently aroused and then head elsewhere. This is likely why spelling and grammatical errors bother me more than it does some writers.

I do the same thing. It's like hitting a speed bump.

I know they mean well and it's amateur hour instead of pro, but after a while I just give up if it's a chronic thing. That's just in reading it, not getting off to it.

Good editing, even if it only means quadruple-checking your own stuff if you can't get someone else to do it, can never be stressed enough.

There is only one bump I want to have to speed over. Punctuation and spelling errors are buzz kills.

If you don't have an editor, the best thing to do before submitting is to wait a couple of days and read the story again to yourself. You'll catch more of the really simple errors that way.

Y u no have the sex with me?!

I got bored too quick reading the OP, but I'm really tired so that could be a factor.

But you're in the huge Garnate playbed with Garnate and Rimmy and everyone else in the Festival, aren't you? With rose petals and naked toyboys to hand you truffles from diamond platters? How could you be tired?

OR WERE WE LIED TO? HMMM?

Detective Des is on the case. :D

Writers ought to be discouraged every opportunity that comes along. If 99% of the shit accepted at LIT were deleted it would only improve things. LIT is the home of the plastic Tee Ball Trophy.

The chanting and mirrors thing doesn't work. :( Neci never showed up in my mirror the other night.

#devastated

Devastated is an anagram of ' a vatted Des'. God, it makes you think, doesn't it?

Dude, 2 things to remember:

1. Butters is a fat ugly cow;

2. You can't write for shit.
