It's so true. Sometimes we just need someone to chat with. Many of us come here for other things, but even when that happens, we're still himan and sometimes it's just nice to have another "zoo ice" to talk to. Someone who's new and excited about meeting someone new. Who doesn't have the baggage of everyday life. Who sees you as fun, fresh...a person not tied to the day to day usual stuff we all have to deal with.
I'm feeling that really hard this week.

What a nice thread 
I've seen a few like it, but it just goes to show, sometimes we all just need to say what's on our mind and clear the air.
It's amazing how much the stillness of the night can work to amplify errant thoughts in one's head. Not so bad when they're nice thoughts, or fun ones. But sometimes things take a darker turn, and it's good to know that there are others out there who may be listening in the same vacuum of night noises.

Thanks. I think there are a lot of people who come here for the community and conversation. That can always lead to more, but hey we're all human. Sometimes positive and happy and strong. Sometimes things are darker and we need to know there's a hand out there to hold and that we aren't alone. Sometimes we just need to shoot the shit with someone who isn't involved in the daily drama of our everyday lives.
It's not always sexy.
