hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go... After 8 months, I am officially employed again! Although being unemployed has been pretty great, I'm looking forward to joining the denizens of the cubes for the first time in my life.

w00t! Good luck and make the most of it.

Never thought about it much, but I guess most of the dayshift here are unemployed.

I'd like a pizza, but nobody shoveled my driveway and the pizza man would complain.
<Sings merrily.>

'Good King Wenceslas looked out,
On the feast of Stephen.
When the snow lay round about,
Deep pan, crisp and even.'

Under obamacare it would have been around $11 a month based off income. My state denied federal assistance, so it came out to $600/mo. I can not be fined because my income is less than the minimum set for fines. States have the right to opt out of federal assistance, there by denying those programs to the people living in the state. That's what self employment does. You work at what you want, but there is not the guarantees salary or benefits. Sometimes I think about going back to work for a corporation or the government just for the benefits, but at this point I choose not to. Anyways. That's just what it is. It is a choice.

Hell, we're damn near at the vernal equinox !!

Looking at the sun's position as it sets o'er the ridge made me realize just how far north it's (apparently) come since its maximum declination in December.

Sometimes I look at what I've written and I think "God! This really will be an epic journey! Maybe this will be a powerful story after all!" but then I think, "Nah, I bet I'm just gonna be making people cry while they beat off."

:chuckle:

I spilled some red wine on my skirt, so I got the salt out. Then some lemon. And sure enough, after the tequila I'd forgotten all about the wine stain. :cool:

Anyone heard from Wife Of Bath yet?

Did she make it home okay from her first day on the new job?
