Obamullah's VA guy caught lying about his military record.

all DUMZ lie about it

they played with GI Joe as a kid....makes em HEROZ

Tell us about your military service, busybody.

They wouldn't take him. He presented at the recruiting line with pre-existing PTSD and he still jumps at imaginary dangers every single day. It's a tragic case.

C'mon Schlomo, a brave, brave man like you MUST have served ONE of his countries. Tell us of your military service in either Israel or America.

#BusybodyTehBrave

He took a "bayonet" in the bung?

Or was it the lung?

Blame O'Really and Williams for the shoddy journalism.

but who cares! the issue is BUSYBODY!

IT’S POTEMKIN OFFICIALS ALL THE WAY DOWN: VA chief falsely claimed special forces service.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald falsely claimed that he served in a military special forces unit, he admitted to the Huffington Post.

When a homeless veteran told McDonald in a conversation captured by CBS that he had served in special forces, the head of the VA replied that he had, too. The conversation aired during a CBS News story chronicling how the agency is working to house homeless veterans.

“I have no excuse,” McDonald told The Huffington Post. “I was not in special forces.”

He added that he “reacted spontaneously” and “wrongly [with] no intent in any way to describe my record as any different than it is.”

McDonald, who was confirmed in July of 2014, served in the 82nd Airborne Division and completed his Army Ranger training, earning the coveted Ranger tab. Although he completed that training, he never actually served in a special forces unit.

Well, to be fair, that lie pales compared to the VA’s claim to provide adequate health care.

That's because they keep picking O-Gangers for these jobs. Put a retired Master Chief in there and see that ship run tight.

Yeah, what a freakin loser..:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

What have you accomplished other than being a prolific whiner, bizzydummy? And you have a lot of nerve commenting on anyone else lying..

snip:

In fact, McDonald never served in special forces. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1975, completed Army Ranger training and took courses in jungle, arctic and desert warfare. He qualified as a senior parachutist and airborne jumpmaster, and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division until he retired from military service in 1980. While he earned a Ranger tab designating him as a graduate of Ranger School, he never served in a Ranger battalion or any other special operations unit.

Once you "earn" your Army Ranger Tab, you are automatically SOF qualified, especially in the day. There is no stolen valor here. There is not one person on this thread that could graduate from Ranger School. I would rather have a Ranger Tab and not serve in either of the three Ranger Battalions or regiment, then not have my Ranger Tab and be serving as a non-tabbed Ranger, which there are many! the guy misspoke, maybe, but it was hardly a lie

Also of note. Members of the 82nd airborne are attached to SOF all the time especially the 75th Inf Regiment. (Rangers). Look it up on the Google before you go attacking a West Point Officer and Ranger School and (jump school) with an impeccable military record!

And there are two military terms here that can get confusing. Special Operations Forces which as the article said are the seals, Rangers, etc etc and the Special Forces which are known as the Green Berets. --

Shawn Habibi First thank you for your service. Respectfully I am just curious when you were on active duty. I am not a ranger
I was on C model gunships in the late 60s down in the Delta.
I just recently ran into a gentleman,West Point Grad Ranger that was imbedded with a Vietnamese Ranger unit which I had covered many times around the Seven Sisters(Cambodia/Vietnam)
boarder. Never had the pleasure of working with an American Ranger Unit. 20% of our missions were with Seal squads and were a great to work with and for.

This guy went thru ranger training, earned his ranger badge, and was an 82nd airborne ranger jumpmaster. A stretch, yeah, but a lie? No. I'm a vet.

That is, the man was a REMF and Remington Ranger in the rear with the gear.

Tampa has a squad of fat broads wearing captains bars whove never seen a fire and do swimming pool safety skits at schools.

lets remember

it was the FAG LIBZ that attacked Sen Jodi E for NOT BEING A COMBAT VET

That's right Busybody, Dubya declared by the authority vested in himself as the Commander-in-Chief that anyone who set foot in the sandbox was a "Combat Veteran", ergo Jodi Ernst can legitimately call herself a "Combat Truck Driver". Wheeeee!

Still waiting for you to tell us about your military service. Surely an uber-patriot such as yourself must have some good war stories to tell.

just remember

a clumsy drunk GIM, MAX....handless, legless, clueless, loser Cleland was YOUR HERO:D

I'm pretty sure Brian Williams served in the Special Forces with the VA Secretary, invading Cambodia with John Kerry.

I was curious how that happened. When the Dems tell it its never the same story twice.

Seems Busybody loves both of the countries he's declared his undying loyalties to (Murica and Israel)....just not enough to volunteer to defend them.

Surely you're not trying to compare that...

That would make you dumber than I'd imagined.

I've spent the day mulling this over and have arrived at the correct position: He's a dumbass officer being a dumbass officer, but he didn't lie.

As I understand it, earning a Ranger's tab is a big deal in the lesser branches of the services, and the Rangers are considered Special Forces. Not everyone can be a sailor, so I'll agree that he was in Special Forces.

I thought the Army let everyone be Special Forces though... didn't they give everyone a green beret a few years back?

I reckon if I were in the Army, I'd want to be a tank commander.

BOOM!!!!

Johnny likes the big guns.

Negative Ghostrider....it just means he was Ranger qualified. You ain't no fuckin' Ranger unless you serve in 1st, 2nd or 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment. Don't let any fuckin' fuckface tell you otherwise just b/c they managed to grab a straw and suck it up for 60 days.

No it was black ones....they took Black berets from Rangers and gave them to the POG's/line grunts.

Gotcha

Well, the black berets are very stylish. I can see why the potato peelers would want one.

Were you Ranger qualified?

Why would the Army send you to Ranger school and then not send you to a ranger billet?

That seems wasteful to me.

The navy wouldn't train someone to fix airplanes and then send them to a submarine.
