Has Yahoo changed its homepage yet again?

I'm getting this big, garish purple, vertical nav bar on the left side. Layout looks nothing like it did 24 hours ago. Not finding anything in the news about a new layout either.

That would point to the issue being with Chrome....

$20 says Yahoo has done something to annoy Chrome users into switching to firefox. They've been pimping the latest build for MONTHS now on their homepage.

Maybe try changing your user agent in Chrome to Firefox and see what you get.
