I just tried to get to my truck to go to world and my entire world is a sheet of ice. Ice. Baby...

Mine is still crunchy snow . . . with more in the forecast . . . and a forecast of warmer rain tomorrow.


And I still have a couple of supply pipes frozen, which is getting old.

Drizzling rain here. My local road from the collector to my driveway is a sheet of 32°F ice with water on it. A bit of gravel here and there makes travel easy in the cruiser, but I wouldn't want to walk it with out cleats or ice studs on my shoes. The ice studs in the tires help, too.

It got warm enough to actually drive in the afternoon.


It's not going to get above freezing for the next week though...


Last year I lost 80% of both my jasmine and my Zhouzhu bush. This will probably kill them.

Currently 26 and sleeting, so we'll be stuck home all day. People here can't drive when it rains, driving during icy conditions is totally out of the realm of possibility.
