Oh please.

This backwards section of earth has no idea how to do tell time.

Ahem.

'Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) refers to the mean solar time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, which became adopted as a global time standard.'

Yea Yea

I keep hearing just that excuse.

We had to take everything and make it better.

Including time.

Big day scheduled today: A mani/pedi and a deep tissue massage. This cold weather has gotten me all knotty.

Mornings (in the normal world) on lit are kinda boring. Which is the afternoon in the once Great Britian. The only conclusion to be drawn is that the Brits aren't really holding up their end of the social contract with lit.

I mean, during my afternoon, I'm here entertaining and bringing the funny. Sure, sometimes I'm the only one laughing, but it's the effort that counts.

Even Miles is interesting this morning, ffs. Sure, he's recycling one of my threads and without a shred of actual information. But still, he's trying. Bless his heart.

Nothing is scheduled for today. I will breakfast on broken dreams, lunch on lost hopes, and dine on dead time. Tomorrow will be busy again. So many assholes, so few nooses.

I'm off to hopefully get some meds so this cold doesn't come back a FOURTH time!

@ meeting for the afternoon, after my morning gig. I do not have time for the Plague.

Crackly voice? Check. Stuffy nose and headache? Check. Discovering your cat has snuck into the car to run errands with you? Yep.

I feel like crap but am easily amused today. Bring on the bad jokes.

In a friendly quest to help you understand all things British, dear birdy, I must just point out that the British don't eat stew for breakfast. And 8.00 am is definitely breakfast time, whatever crazy notions you lovely people have about 'time zones' and other post-modern hilarities.

Mr. Des, I was crockpot cooking. I'm having it for lunch today. When I was in college, I'd have leftover pizza for breakfast. Pizza for breakfast sounds crazy but it's good.

My youngest asked about the shamrock shakes last week.

McD's did not have them yet.

Thought I would kill for a mcrib.
