Yes, you'd think that fact would change my thinking process and help me to adapt. Somehow, it doesn't.

You lose that extra hour of sleep in the morning, too.

:)

I never learned to sew either. I'm pretty much useless in that regard. I'd take a class if I ever thought I'd have the patience to finish even one project.

Right. I remember as a kid I asked for a latch-hook kit for Christmas. I never finished a single design, and I was still finding little tufts of yarn all around my room when I was packing up for college.

I sew and I have taught it. Maybe I could share some very easy project and you could try it? Or for Farrah for her baby?

That's very sweet, Noor, but I wonder if you realize just how easy the project would have to be for me? ;) I have thought about attempting a little pillow for the rocker. That would involve just sewing two same-sized squares or rectangles around some fluff, right?

How about a no sew just cutting project to get you start and some confidence?

Elder Ruglet's birthday today. She's caught up with her mother now, they're both 29, and always will be.

I am craving butt sex, but I suspect I'll die before I get it.

Or if I ever get it, I won't like it.

I'm making beef stew, it's smelling good.

In a friendly quest to help you understand all things British, dear birdy, I must just point out that the British don't eat stew for breakfast. And 8.00 am is definitely breakfast time, whatever crazy notions you lovely people have about 'time zones' and other post-modern hilarities.

Oh please.

This backwards section of earth has no idea how to do tell time.
