Story 1: Set at Christmas, a father and his daughter live alone (his wife died I believe), a former student's car dies on the road nearby and she knocks on the door, which is the answered by the daughter. The daughter invites her in, being innocent. The former student remembers the teacher, is now an actress, oh, and she remembers the teacher gave her an A-, not an A. LOL The student DID get into Juliard, at least partly on the teacher's recommendation. The teacher and the former student connect, hook up, and she goes for a part on Broadway -- not the part she was intending, but she gets it. Story evolves into a nice arc, happy ending.

Story 2: This is going to be harder to locate. Okay, male university student sees a bad auto accident, stays with the driver, a young woman. She turns out to be the daughter of a female professor. Student and teacher hook up, SERIOUSLY fall in love -- there's an encounter with her and her friends and him and his friends at a club. Her friends include a judge, who winks at the students having a round of drinks despite being underage. Anyhow, student and prof fall in love in a big way, maybe get married, maybe just live together.

That is pretty much all I've got in my poor, dilapidated memory. Anyone know what the heck I'm talking about, please? Thank you very much!

Maybe check the main forums, there is a thread specifically created to help find particular stories :)

Yah, it's under "Story Feedback". Sorry, but to me the Story Feedback" forum isn't the most intuitive place for a "Help Finding A Story" sub-forum. Different minds work different ways, eh? Thanks for the pointer, but not the sarcasm . . . Even if you DO have an avatar of Dr. Emilio Lizardo, aka Lord John Whorfin. BLUE BLAZE IRREGULARS FOREVER!!

Sarcasm is the least of what you may experience on the GB.
Most of the time, people asking for help looking for stories here receive only derision accompanied by requests to do anatomically improbable (if not impossible) things.

The sub forum is CALLED Looking For A Story and you didn't think it would be the appropriate place to look for a story? Lordy.

Let's be rude to the people who are most likely to put food on Laurel's table.

Yes, it would be easier to find if it wasn't a sub-forum.
