Mom and Dad attend daughter's collaring

Here's an idea that popped into my head yesterday:

A daughter has a falling out with her parents when they discover that she is engaged in a Master/Slave relationship with her current lover. They fight constantly about it and eventually just stop communicating.

A few years pass and a family crisis occurs (medical issue or death in the family) which bring them together. They all agree to bury the hatchet and the parents make an effort to spend time with their daughter and her (now) fiance. While it's definitely not a conventional relationship, they do see that the two of them have a deep love and trust for each other.

The parents do their best to make up for last time and get heavily involved in the upcoming wedding, which includes a lot of time with the parents spending one on one time with their daughter...with their honest questions about bdsm coming to light ever so often and their curiosities getting peaked.

The a few months before the wedding, the invitations arrive...but surprisingly, another envelope is received, with an invitation to a "special ceremony" for the bride and groom.

Calling up their daughter and their future in-law, they find out that it was an accident as the second invitation is for a collaring ceremony they were planning to have with their close friends from the local BDSM community.

All of them have a good laugh at the mix-up but as the date for the collaring comes closer, the parents start to think on it and they can't help but be curious. Both of them have become increasingly curious about the lifestyle and have even added a little powerplay into the bedroom, using activities that they heard about from their daughter. Additionally, they really do want to show that they have grown past their bias and have accepted their daughter's lifestyle.

So, a few weeks before the ceremony, the parents call and ask if they can attend. While there is some surprise, their daughter and her fiance agree, though they caution the parents that their daughter will be performing some acts and doing things that they might find humiliating. The parents agree and spend the time before the ceremony wondering what will happen, becoming increasingly nervous and secretly aroused by the possibilities.

The day of the ceremony then arrives.


So what happens next?

The best fiction ideas are at least partially based on someone's real life experiences. Something like this happened to a friend of mine several years ago. There was no incest involved, but for me, as an outsider who knew the family, it presented a voyeuristic scene I'll never forget.

Just putting it out there that BDSM/incest crossovers don't mix to well, trust me, I know. You don't blatantly say there will be incest, but I know that will be what others suggest.

This is one of those ideas that my first reaction is, "Oh, come on" then I tell myself, "Look, this is am erotica site, erotica like any fiction stretches belief, shut the brain off and go for the ride... then I say...no.

The parents being okay with a son/daughter's lifestyle I can believe, parents don't want to alienate their daughter, fine.

But to attend a collaring? For the daughter and future son in law to want them to? For them to want to?

Lost me. I lived the lifestyle for a long time and I just can't buy that at all.

Doesn't mean others won't run with it, but if you put that in BDSM get ready for it, because you'll get beat down

Throw BDSM in incest...maybe less of a beat down, but its not going to go over all that well

Honestly given what marriage was in the West until practically the day before yesterday I'm uncertain why a family wouldn't attend the collaring of their daughter. The real issue here isn't the collar its the amount of heavily implied and outright stated nudity that would be part of the situation.

That's kind of where this scenario loses me but what if that happens after, or is at least supposed to happen. The invitation flat out states that this is basically a wedding, keep it classy. There will be the collaring of the slave, the kissing of the shoes, followed by walking her out on the leash. Then go and make up some mumbo jumbo about what all that stuff means in ceremony then in theory the more vanilla people are herded out but the parents are in the bathroom, at the bar, forget a purse/wallet/phone or whatnot and come back in after they are supposed to be gone. Perhaps it takes a long time for anybody to really notice them because the Bride and Groom are. . .occupied, not many of the Brides friends are present and those that are equal parts busy and unfamiliar with her parents and the groom and his friends and family have never even met the bride's parents face to face.

I imagine that a scene where dad presents the collar to the groom, to be subsequently applied to daughter/bride could be hot and emotionally heavy for everyone especially if father is taken to the situation by surprise.
