Yes, that was the first thing I tried. It's hot wired to my electrical work. It's got to have something to do with that. After a few hours tho, it just stopped. Maybe it's because I tapped it *lightly* with the bat I hide under my bed.

It's not dead but it is quiet again. I don't want the same thing to happen tonight.

That's actually good advice. I had the main motor on my fridge burn out because I did not take the time to vacuum out the coils. Who knew?

I have used the canned air to clean the ionizing smoke detector in the duct system at work, before. The old R22 "air" worked best.
