The photos are identical. The event was a 1920 lynching at Duluth, Minnesota. Minnesota isn't in the South, last time I checked.

The 4000 figure isn't new either, and doesn't reflect the 1000s of white assassinations committed by blacks.

Ralph Ginzburg documented the lynchings back in 1962.

No one ever asserts lynchings were bogus crimes inflicted on poor innocent blacks. Think Michael Brown robbing the store and assaulting the cop. Lynchings usually occurred after the negro killed the sheriff or town marshal.

Just thought I'd confirm for you that Minnesota is not in the south.

And Duluth isn't in the south part of the state, either.

Liberals always presume blacks didn't deserve their hangings, but most did.
