Starting Wed 9-30am....

.... I am going to be frantically moving house. All the furniture, white goods, bedrooms and kitchen will have to be in and set up before Friday morning.
I get the keys at 9-30 tomorrow and then it's on!

Depending on what happens with my operation on Friday, I may be back up and about within a day, or I may be down for a few days to a week. We won't know till they cut me (it could be a simple excision, or if there are no clear margins the surgeon will also take lymph glands from both sides of my neck for testing which is a much bigger op.)

So my new apartment has to be set up or the kidley will be in hell trying to sort it all out by himself.

I am sitting here in a kind of limbo right now. Everything that can be, has been packed and the car is already loaded so when I get the keys I can go straight there with the first lot.
But until tomorrow morning, I have nothing else I can do.
Waiting, waiting.....

The move was planned, but the surgery waan't.
I had taken a.week off for the move. Now I have to get the bulk of it done before this unexpected op!
So long as the main stuff is done we'll be fine.
And I now have 2 weeks off, but may need more. Or not

WQ if they tell you to lie low after surgery do it! If they say go back to your regular activities, go over your regular activities with them and make sure.

I have found that my "regular activities" are much more active than most doctors imagine.

How big is a decent sized town there, by the way?

I think we have a population around 150,000 in the town itself and greater region (big farming area so I'm counting town plus about 30km radius) This is the second-largest town in the state.
Yeah - I've been told to expect a bit of a headache for a few days while my scalp stretches to accommodate the bit they have to cut out. More pain if it's necessary to go after lymph glands.

Hey... I just had a thought!
When they stretch the skin to bring the edges together, maybe I'll lose some wrinkles for a while!
