I counted 4, but at least one is a knit winter hat, and another winter type cotton job. One is a baseball style that is gear swag that I rarely wear, and the fourth is also gear swag, but is more of a military style.

I lost my red baseball hat, and my beloved fleece winter hat. I miss them both.

Fair point, maybe it is a regional thing but we don't call them caps where I am from, they are all hats, but I should have read the OP more closely.. I have more than 10 "proper" hats as well so I qualify either way.

If you consider a boonies a proper hat then I have ten plus...lost my cowboy hat years ago but still got the matching boots...

Cool! Hats with 3 inch brims also protect your face, ears and a bit of your neck!

Not counting ball caps, touques and hard hats, I have one flat cap (tweed) that I wear all the time in cool weather and one top hat.
