Yeah, we talking about pest control for plants and he suggested ladybirds and I was like what the hell is he talking about. I always heard ladybugs are good luck, too.

i had to look this up. apparently there are certain types of ladybugs that do bite. very interesting.

Ladybirds/bugs are brilliant for aphid control on roses in particular.

In other good news, my lovely neighbours just knocked on the window because they were so excited about 'that ring around the moon!' I think it's an ice-halo? But anyway, it looks very pretty, and I was just in love with their enthusiasm.
