I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it. How do I create a link in my signature to the stories I have posted on Lit?

Welcome to this end of the forums :rose:

So something like this:
Adelyn's Stories

It's quite simple. Go to your User CP. Click on Edit Signature. Then add your linked story (you can use this as a tip if you are unsure how to add links to words). Make sure you click save signature.

Happy sigging. :)

^^^ What she said...or take a gander at my sig.

HTML:
[B].
My Stuff at Lit

Ignore the html code bit, that was just to show you the code in the sig.

I have removed the code for my websites.

Nevermind. I found my ID number and pasted it into your link. That gave me mine!

Round about way to do it but it worked!

Thanks!

Zeb, how do I find my author page (not sure of the technical term for it). I clicked on your link and it took me to yours.

No problem. You could have also clicked on your name in your story. That would have taken you to your profile where you submissions page lives. :)

This is making me feel very computer illiterate when I know I'm not! I was able to put the actual addy link in my sig and have it show up, but when I tried to add it as a hyperlink under My Stories, it doesn't keep the hyperlink.

Where do you link the two? I don't see a place in User CP, Edit Sig where you can hyperlink your title.

It's quite simple. Here is a post I did a while back exactly on this:

Type in the word that you wish to hyperlink and highlight it.

Then click on the hyperlink button:

A pop up window will appear with http:// already in place. Just add the link, click save.

Et voila! A word hyperlinked!

Word

So for your sig, you could do something like this:

Adelyn's Stories

Alternatively, you can type it out: Word to be hyperlinked

Thank you sooo much, fire breeze!

This one worked like a charm.

I usually paste the Text in the text box, then highlight it and click the link symbol ( the little world with the chain link) it then asks for the url I want to show up for the link.

Just like Fire's post shows.

Zeb, I tried that in the Edit Sig box and it didn't give me the hyperlink option. I tried doing it in MS Word and cut/pasting it into the Edit Sig box but that didn't work either.

I have it on there now, so I'm a happy little smut writer!

Did your edit box look like the one Fire posted...

If not you will have to go to you profile (click User CP above) then click profile options. Down at the bottom you will see Message Editor Interface. There is a selection drop down...select Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls.

The the link icon should show up on the message boxes.
