How many threads do you see on the first page of the GeeBee?

At one time, I counted only 17 out of 40. I must have relaxed my ignore list, posters I do read are starting more threads, or there are newbies not yet consigned to ignore, because there are 38 out of 40 at the moment.

Looks like about the same for page two.

I wiped out my ignore list during the Political Forum debate, so that I could read all the arguments on all sides of the issue. Turns out, 90% of my ignored are no longer here anyway.

So, I see the full 40. 3 or 4 are interesting enough to open.

I never put anyone on ignore and I never will. Nobody bothers me enough for me to have to do that. I don't read half of people posts anyway.

And I feel like the person wouldn't care if I put them on ignore anyway. Because I know I don't, when someone does it to me. "I'm putting you on ignore" or " time for ignore" My reaction is, So? . What's the point of telling me. Guess people tell you to try and piss me off. But you can't piss someone off who doesn't give a fuck.

This one, ironically, wasn't really one of them.

Well, I would have to agree, not so far...

But you never know the twists and turns ahead.

I, too, emptied my iggy list for the political forum. I forget was that your suggestion at the time? I have since put a lot of political posters on ignore, but that is more a self-discipline thing. It slows me down so that I consider whether it is really worth my time (or if I am honest, theirs) to respond at all.

If that is the case, why respond at all in a thread they host. Seems unproductively combative if I know there is an impasse.

Perhaps I should go count up the political board posts. Perhaps that's where the threads I used to ignore went.

I have 33.

One of my hobbies is identifying people in old photos. There are always clues. The photo process sets a date, costume does the same, ditto hair style, ditto furniture, etc. Many old photos have info on the back of the picture made by the photographer, so he knew who was who if things were misplaced.

Yep. That is where the difference is. Only 26 out of 40 on the political forum.

That's nice.
What does it have to do with the 33 threads on my front page?

Once I iggy someone they stay there. It would be highly unusual for someone to become intelligent or less obnoxious. :D

All of them, of course.

He where have you been. Haven't seen you around in a while. 2 more posts and you have 6666 posts.

I've been around. Even when I don't comment, or don't comment much, I'm usually still around. This board is strangely addictive.

Prove it!!! :D

I still have hope for you.

Without chinge, there is no hope.

It's something Laurel puts in the water. My theory, at least.
