How much do you like or dislike your boss?

If you're Fata, feel free to write an essay.

I've never had a boss I truly couldn't stand, other than a quick retail job when I was in college. My most recent boss is one of my closest personal friends and we also had a good professional relationship.

She's... alright. She's nice, but racist, but in a "ignorant" rather than malicious way. And really biggotted. Her dad's a preacher. If she ever found out that I like the cock she'd find a reason to fire me. But she helped pay for me to go back to school and get my certification. She's really nice to me because I hide myself from her.

My only bad one...was my last one. Thus, early retirement.

I've pretty much always had good bosses. I had one guy who was sort of a jerk. But he wasn't downright mean, just unintentionally condescending. I remember asking him a question about something engineering related when I first got out of college. His response was basically, "How can you not know that?" It wasn't something obvious in my mind. At all. But he was a good guy. Invited me on his boat and stuff. I sort of give him a pass because he wasn't doing it just to be a dick.

Other than that, all my bosses have been great. My current boss and director go out nearly every day for lunch. Both great guys.

They're fucking.

My last boss was fear-driven lying scum. I had no idea how bad until I had been there for awhile.

Last time I saw him in public, I ignored him.

Truth is, he's losing his eyesight, so he might not even have seen me.

My boss on the overnight it pretty cool. Hes half asleep all the time. He is kind of a stoner.

My old boss was a douchewad.

I just finished an overnight week, and need to to try to stay up today as much as possilbe.

on a personal level, i'm not overly impressed. but occasionally i'm impressed with how she kicks arse.

I have several jobs and the only boss that is an asshole is my main job. I'm self employed.

I like my bosses, I don't always agree with how they handle things, but then I don't have to answer to their bosses.

I've been fortunate to have some really good bosses in my career.

I can only think of one bad one, he was fine in the morning but he got absolutely shitfaced at lunch every day, and was an Ishmael-class asshole drunk all afternoon.

Shortest job I've ever had: life is too short to work for alcoholics.

I had a gaggle of bosses at the law firm, the equity partners. I liked the main one. He had maintained his sense of humor and did his damnedest to foster the sort of workplace where I wanted to be. Unfortunately, all of the other partners were pedantic assholes. And those were the ones I had to endure daily. When they threatened to make me a partner, I realized my life would be further tied to this lot, a group I had zero respect for. The main partner refused to let me quit. It took a few months, but I finally extricated myself.
