Not so. Everywhere blacks live they are characterized by crime, stupidity, and illegitimacy. Crime and illegitimacy are more flexible than intelligence. Nevertheless, black crime and illegitimacy increased after the civil rights legislation was signed. Black crime only began to decline when the prison population began to increase. Black illegitimacy is still disgustingly high. :devil:

In many ways the world, and American society have gotten worse. Police and fire departments have reduced physical standards in order to admit physically unqualified women. Government agencies have reduced intellectual standards in order to admit intellectual unqualified Negroes. Companies in private industry are restricted from using mental aptitude tests in order to select candidates. Negroes and Hispanics get into colleges instead of better qualified whites and Orientals.

Crime and illegitimacy have risen.

Wages for most Americans have stagnated or declined. The national debt as a percentage of gross domestic product has grown. Those are probably an unrelated problems.

Nevertheless, it has become difficult for the Democratic Party to raise taxes because low income whites do not think the Democrats advance their interests. They think the Democratic Party advances the interests of non whites instead. They do not want their tax money to help Negroes.

The Great Society has not worked out as planned. Most Americans think the country is on the wrong track.

Dropping it feels like a concession to political correctness. I hate political correctness. Martin Luther King called them "Negroes." I am going to keep right on calling them "Negroes," or "colored people." That works for me too.

I will also continue to call Orientals "Orientals," Eskimos "Eskimos," and American Indians "Americans Indians." The only reason I prefix Indian with "American" is to distinguish them from citizens of India. I hope the Washington Redskins keep their name.

I do not care if times have changed. I have not changed. I am not going to change. Most of the changes I have seen during my life have been bad ones. This is true for economic as well as social changes. Do you remember when the rich paid high taxes? Do you remember when the national debt declined every year as a percentage of gross domestic product? Do you remember when one third of the work force was in labor unions? Do you remember when most people got pay raises every year that beat inflation? I do.

I also remember when most children were raised to adulthood by both parents living together in matrimony. Children raised that way tend to do better in life than illegitimate children, and children whose parents get divorced.

So what is so good about these changes?

In a retrospective for the 1960's that was held during the early 1980's Jerry Rubin said, "We are refugees from a future that never happened." The future looked forward to during the 1960's did not happen. Stop pretending that it did. Few people look forward to the future any more.

I've always called them black. I have 3 biracial nephews I love and would do anything for too.. I don't feel a single bit of racism... And think little of anyone that'd hate someone just because of the color of their skin..
