1. I've been buying 10-lb bags of kibble for Larry, trying to see which one he likes best before I buy a big bag. So far, he likes Pedigree the best. This week he's eating Alpo and doesn't seem to like it. When I pour half a jar of gravy on top though, he eats the hell out of it!

2. Every year I think my taxes will be a breeze. I do my quarterly payments and keep my P&Ls pretty well organized. Every year I'm annoyed though. Why is it so damned complicated to give the government money? FFS it takes me days and days to reconcile my records and fill out the papers. Not only that, but there's always a 1099 that shows up in the mail box just when I think I'm done.

3. It would be nice if Kathie Lee never came back. She annoys the piss right out of me. Billy Bush sucks too. Let Jenna Bush Hagar be co-host.

4. Back to taxes for a moment - I have a lady-friend and I've done her taxes for the past 4 years. It used to be pretty easy as she has a job and lives in an apartment. This year her spawn started college so it got exponentially more difficult and I think I deserve a blowie.

She'd be more likely to give you a blowie if you covered it in gravy.

I always bought Science diet for my dogs. They liked the taste of it, and when you have big dogs, the "60% less shit produced" is a huge plus.

Oh my goodness, if your doggy looks anything like the ones I just googled, I'm smitten. They're freaking adorable! :)
He must be pretty big then?

You haven't seen the pics he's posted? His dog is ridiculously cute.

I got into feeding my cat a raw diet a few years ago.
Feline Nutrition's Easy Raw Cat Food

It wasn't easy for me tho, my little girl wouldn't eat her liver meat (watching her chew up raw bones was awesome!).
Now I use TCFeline.

I have a meat grinder so this is really easy for me. I grind up raw meat, mix it with the powder slurry, portion it out, freeze it. She loves it!

They make a dog version too, Better In The Raw.

Pick one that Larry likes and stick to it. Changing foods too often could turn him fussy. What Rob said is true about how different foods effect animals differently.

Pedigree doesn't digest as for my mutt.

It's Ok to occasionally bring home a different brand or flavor for change of pace. Just make sure its nutritionally sound. Not all dog foods are equal. I feed my dog Rachel Ray's brand.

I've only had him about 6 weeks so he's still doing the taste test.

I'm having a little problem with feeding the new dog. I'm not sure if she's ever eaten dog food, she's lived odd off of whatever she hunted in the woods and between two man camps throwing her scraps. She just looks at dog food like what is this dried up flavorless stuff? She wouldn't eat the Gravy Train with water. At all. She picked a little bit at it when I mixed canned food in it, no water.

She doesn't even eat the catfood that's left out, what dog won't eat catfood?

She will get hungry....

I've thought of that, but still want to make it appetizing for her. I'm quite shocked at what a good dog she's turning out to be considering her upbringing. Just the food thing is ugh...okay I felt sorry for her and gave her two ribs yesterday. Not even eaten off of.

Okay, a dog that won't eat cat food is a red flag...stomach issues?
