Racial Fatigue?

My wife says yes. Angry black is all they got to offer and its been beat to death. We saw Selma on teevee back in 1965.....50 years ago. I see the same old horse in fiction...angry black men pissed at the man. That said, Chester Himes wrote some funny goddamned books about Harlem, and the black elites kicked his ass till he got right with Jesus and vanished as a popular writer.
 
Two generations after the civil rights legislation was passed it is becoming increasingly difficult to blame whites for black problems. I think even many white liberals - like me - are getting Negro Fatigue. :(

We are tired of being blamed for their stupidity, their crimes, and the legions of illegitimate children they have, and then expect us to support on welfare. :devil:

That's because you come from a world where everybody is really fucked up adn really hypocritical. The reality is that 99% of people believe civil society using only politically correct speech. We can't even function when people don't do that.
 
I do know that I get plenty fatigued here. When next I have an opportunity, I plan to actively assert my white privilege, just to lend a smidgen of verity to Zumi's life's work.
