I drive a big ol' gas-guzzling 4-wheel drive. Country boy's got to. Yesterday I made extra beer money hauling a chair for a friend. He lives in town, so he doesn't have a truck.

Have to admit I could never imagine one of you tobacco chewing rednecks in a little electric contraption. But you lot have petrol and diesel coming out your ears for buttons at the moment, so fuck the environment eh?...

Not all that much. Out trucks run really clean.



It's the chainsaws and gators that do all the damage. And quite frankly, when we used to drive to KC, you could see the brown dome over it from 50 miles away...



So don't be hackin' on no country boy. Someone has to feed you.

I heard on NPR that some guy has written a book about super battery development. The bit i heard said the Tesla runs on the equivalent of 8000 AA batteries, wile the Volt's battery technology is s'posed to be superior.


If I were concerned about it, I'd Google the article. Gasoline engine cars are still way ore affordable. Big block Mopar engines are also very affordable - if they were smaller and lighter, I'd have more, but then they wouldn't be "big", would they?


I like doing environmental stuff, like recycling and the like, but I doubt much of the hoopla that Man causes all that much permanent damage.
