This thread makes me want to comb my hair, I suppose that is a good thing.

How often do you brush or comb yours?

Almost never. But, my hair is ridiculously curly and brushes do terrible things to my hair. Now, when my hair is straightened I absolutely love brushing my hair and will do it probably way more than I need to.

I have curly hair and almost never brush it unless it's fairly short and I am putting it up. Then I use a mason pearson brush. I sometimes comb it out before I wash it.
If I comb out my hair it is much longer than when it's just natural.

I pick my hair when it's wet out of the shower. I brush it and put it in a pony before I work out and brush it thoroughly right before bed. It's very curly so it pretty much looks like medusa at that point.

I keep my eyes open when doing this.

If I blowdry or straighten my hair it feels all silky and I love brushing it.

If I let it air dry and then brush it... Poof.

So mainly right before or after a shower.

Wow. Jealous. I comb/brush my hair like every few hours. But that's because it's type 1 so it requires a lot of grooming or I'll look like a greaser.
