I was told recently by someone on skype that I sit very still. So still that they kept asking me if I had frozen.

Anyone else been told something similar?

That is the last thing, that someone would say about me. I am perpetually shifting my body. Even, in my sleep.

I fidget. All the time.

The irony is I'm usually fidgety as well. I have the nervous leg thing going on. But for some reason when I'm on skype I don't move. Maybe it's because I'm fascinated by me in the bottom corner.

I never stop moving, which is due to my internal soundtrack. Right now, I am spinning dance tunes. Oooonce, ooonce, ooonce, ooonce.

Are you tracking prey, Rimmy ?

That is interesting I was just thinking about that. I tend to be very much in motion, my mouth (obviously) if nothing else.

I can be preternaturally still for very long periods of time, though. People notice the distracted and hyperactive periods in a person with ADHD, what they usually don't notice is the periods of rest and hyper-focus.

not right now.

i bet more blackout posts, than true narcolepsy. ambien posts.

My best friend's wife has cataplexy. I've seen her go down right in front of me.

Sounds dirtier than it is.

I am very still, when I do the Corpse Pose (yoga)

By then, I am grateful to be allowed to be still.

If it's a woman, she usually says, "for fuck's sake, would you put that thing away?!"

I'm also in the twitchy crowd. People will ask me why I'm so nervous and I'm not nervous? I just... twitch. I have to constantly move because my nerves are fucked up and if I try to stay still my muscles will just jerk away anyway. That's why I took up knitting. My therapist said it would channel the twitchiness into free clothes. And it did. So, for all you other twitchers, know that that is a thing.

No one has ever commented on my stillness, or lack thereof. But the mind...the gears of the mind are always spinning.

Thanks Wings! My latest attempt at being artsy...

It's neat!

Of course, if I had any photoshop skills at all I would add a scary clown face on the other side of the glass to make myself laugh.
