If you have spent any time on twitter or you know someone with mental health issues you may know this hashtag.

The truth is that sometimes we can all do with a small win. It doesn't matter what it is. It may even not really be a win to someone else.

This is just a gentle reminder to yourself that sometimes shit goes right and that there are good moments out there. Those moments are worth posting for others to see.

I had 2 yesterday.

#SmallWin. Made Toad in the hole for tea last night. Batter rose like a champ. :D

#SmallWin. Managed to have a conversation on kik without any autocorrect shenanigans!

#SmallWin. remembered to take pics for someone's gardening thread.

This hashtag---WTF? I still call it the number sign or the pound sign. I need to catch up with the times. Anyway...is for my mother.

#SmallWin. My mom only had to go in for platelets today.

#SmallWins - driving to work this morning and every light was green :D

nice thread!

i have a notebook/diary where i write down all the good stuff (and only the good stuff!) that happened each day. a little book full of positive stuff!

it was His idea....

#smallwin: learnt from weescotsman how to paste my own attachments, open, on the thread! Thanks, ws!

[Thanks Kalamain for this. I'll be back, to read and to post. :) ]

#small win- Which actually was a huge win...I was able to keep alert and remain awake to see Ohio State defeat Oregon!

First of all people... Thank you all for posting! :D

Second of all.. This thread was not my idea. It was someone else's. Maybe that person wants to take a little recognition for their good idea? ;)

I could have sworn there was another thread like this. It may have been on another forum, but it was a bloody good idea, so after a quick search to make sure I made it.

I know so many people that suffer with mental issues that this is one of the things I hear over and over. But its not just for them... Its good for EVERYONE. We all need #SmallWins.

Just had another.

#SmallWin Found a pound coin on the floor in the outhouse. No idea how long its been there.

This is a great thread...thanks Kalamain for creating it and thank you to the person who had the idea.

My brother is mentally challenged...
There are endless notes of knowledge that I have learned from having a brother that has special needs...but , probably one of them that stands out is...
A small win to the average person is simply that...but , to a challenged individual, it is over the top HUGE! Not only for the individual , but also for anyone who loves them and wants them to experience the very best that life has to offer.

#SmallWin~ seeing elli. :)

*stands still, arms at side, ready to be hugged elli-style, 'cause she needs one this morning*

#SmallWin - I re-set the security code on my car radio without having to take it to the dealer.

I was in the right place at the right time. Last week, I had the privilege to witness a two year old girl hear her parents voices. She was born deaf and after the doctor activated her cochlear implant, she went from fussy cranky to big smiles. Happy tears all around. Its times like these I love my profession. Too bad there isn't more of them.

I'd say that's a #BIGWin. :)
