I want to change my thing from Really Experienced to something else I want and can't figure out how to. Also, how do I do colors, bold, and italic? Thanks!!

The title under your name is generated automatically based on the number of posts you make. Once you hit 1,000 posts you are allowed to put up a custom title.

Your question about how to bold and italicize words is puzzling, as the word-processing elements in the posting window seem to be self-explanatory. Unless you're looking to introduce color or other features into the text that appears under your screen name - which isn't possible.

No, I didn't mean that. I meant in posts. Actual posts I have seen colors and bold text as well as italic text. A thousand! I thought it was 100. My bad.

Hey, you have to wait until you have posted sufficient that it changes to 'guru' and then in 'edit options' a new option will appear called 'custom ... oh something or other. It will tell you the default is 'literotica guru' and you can type in a change to that as you wish. But you can't do that until you have posted much more.

As colours etc, when you open a 'reply' box, look along the top of it. the box with A is your colour tool. Using your mouse or thumb thing on your laptop highlight what you want other than black and then put it to a colour from that box.

Likewise all the other options at the top of the reply box. Play around! Use this thread for practice and discover what you can do!

No, it doesn't show me an A. It doesn't show me anything but title and then under that post options. Maybe I have to unlock that too? Or it's not available on Google Chrome?

Worth pointing out to our newbie that this range opens when you click on 'post reply' at top left of screen, while a smaller range opens if you click on 'quick reply' at the bottom right of the post you're reading.

Yes, though even the "Quick Reply" window allows for changes to text font and color.

If you go to EDIT OPTIONS and scroll down to Misc - make sure your formatting options are on:

When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.

I use Chrome and this is what the posting text controls looks like to me:

To get the above options you also might have to to into you User CP in the Edit Options and down at the bottom of the page select from the drop down marked Message Editor Interface: the option Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls from the list.
