Own up or new name?

So been on here a short while exploring testing the waters and leaveing my comfort zone.
During that time I've posted stuff I wouldn't normally say and some times in a way I wouldn't say it.
This is my second name on lit. The first one was stupid although on that one I was less foolish with my words. It just didn't say what I wanted it to say I learned after a short while so I then made this one.
Now I'm reading back to some of my post and remarks not very happy with much of it .
So the question is new name or own up to your short Cummings and build from it?

I've known ladies here that changed their name for other reasons, and seemed quite happy with the new identity. You can always PM people you want to know if you've had a connection with.

On the other hand I wouldn't be impressed to find out someone I'd been talking to I'd already known and they hadn't told me. So depending on your honesty could either be very simple or tricky.

In my honest opinion I think it's perfectly fine to embrace your old name. To me it Represents a maturing of your sexuality. How you've changed regardless on how you look back on older posts. To me, it shows that your thoughts and moods may also have changed. Those who know you by your old identity should not care because they know you. And the ones who don't know you shouldn't base their opinion on you by old posts.

The things that I used to be into when I first joined ear have changed so I choose to embrace my old posts and move on from them. If somebody asked me about something that I wrote a long time ago that might make me feel awkward, I simply tell them that I was exploring a fantasy or fetish and I've moved on.

In other words be honest and be yourself. We've all made mistakes and all have said things that we regret.
