Over the years my wifes vagina has well shrunk. How can she enlarge it so we can have sex.

first of all she should consult her doctor to make sure there isn't a medical condition affecting her vagina. Vaginas are normally pretty elastic and shouldn't "shrink" to the point of making sex uncomfortable.

That said, there are medical conditions, such as vaginismus which can lead to tightening of the vagina. There are dilators on the market for just such a problem in order to help open up the vagina.

I have heard of a woman's vagina getting bigger as she gets older, but never of it shrinking. What makes you think it's getting smaller? Are you sure she isn't just getting drier as she gets older? Sometimes as a woman ages, her vagina won't produce as much fluids, (for lubrication during sex), as she did when she was younger.

It's actually very common for a woman's vagina to lose elasticity after menopause or with other significant hormonal changes.. often associated with some of the changes mentioned by HH. This loss of elasticity is perceived as tightening or shrinking and is made worse by the diminishing lubricating fluids. You might also notice that the appearance is different. This is something that should be verified medically. You may need nothing more than a topical cream to help the skin and underlying tissues.. but it's a special girl area so you want the right fix!

Maybe a bit more lube and talking, talking and lube. And if that doesn't work, a quick trip to the doctor should do it.
