My head hurt been arguing for a while but now I'm bored. I'm in the house now and I'm by myself. I don't like to drink alone, or just drink to be drinking. Because that makes me feel like a alcoholic. But I'm so fucking bored and I know I'm not going to be able to go to sleep any time soon. Is it too late to start drinking?

It's after 9am.

Sorry Noor but I started already. I'm bored, and nothing is on TV.

My head hurts already, studying would just make it hurt more. Plus the only Internet access I have here is my phone.

Do you have ac omputer or tablet with wifi? You can load 'FoxFi' on your phone and use your phone to surf the web with our computer. The free version works fine, and you have to restart it like every twenty minutes or so. If the free works for your situation, pay the one time $7 or something for the paid version.

I landed my dream job today :)
I raise my excellent.glass of merlot to you, sir!

My daughter got a I pad, she left it up here. I had it for a couple of days but she came and got that lol. The only other thing I have that had Internet access was my ps4. But I sold that a couple of days ago.

Lol I do need it. Good move.

You know what you will really hate? It wasn't a gambit. It was a mistake.

I moved there thinking it was covered by my knight, but it wasn't. I realized my mistake and almost said, "Oh shit!" I gamed it from there and realized I had just accidentally traded a bishop and probably a knight for your queen, and moved our King out of position.

I was glad I hadn't typed "oh shit' because I actually did want you to take the bishop, and I didn't want to get in the habit of lying to get you to take a gambit.

One of the other boards we have going looks interesting. My bishop, two knights and two queens all pointed at the same spot. When you pointed your bishop at that spot, I'm thinking annihilation would be dumb on my part, but then I saw I had my other knight to take your bishop. The bishop is covered, so I lose the knight, but we are back to where I was before. I think.

The weird thing about that setup is it doesn't go to annihilation mode unless you start it, and I cant initiate the sequence. I just found a way to kick it off, but I think it untangles it all when you move your queen.

We'll see.

I been losing lately, gotta get my game together.

It's Friday night here, so zero obligations till Monday :)
Plus I have ended my week and started my New Year on a high, so a bottle of good red is well deserved.

Congrats on the new job. Glad your hard work paid off. Toast.

I think it is your opening. I'm using mostly an opening that isn't used much anymore because it can be beat with the other opening I do, the one where you move your knight, that one pawn and the bishop so you can get your kind castled.

I have been studying how to beat that while still using m queens gambit opening, and it is hard.

I have this whole defense that I plan on doing each time from that queens gambit. I never seem to get it all played out because you aways take a wrecking ball to it in the early stages. That used to kind of bug me, but I have learned to trust that when you come over like that and wipe me out early, it ends up leaving you unprotected as well. Not really sure how it works but it seems to.

The thing that I think has been pretty remarkable is we are close to 100 games in and I don't think two of them have even been remotely similar. I haven't probably ever played anyone good before, but when I used to play my brother, every game was about the same, just wait and see who makes a mistake they didn't mean to.

I don't even know what you call the open we used to do, it was the move the pawn in front of the king up one open. It made for boring, conservative, defensive games.

I never actually studied chess. I know if I do it will take my game to the next level. I just try things out and play off my instincts. I tried to read about openings, but I always lose focus. I be having a lot on my mind as is, but I'm going to study the history of chess one day.

I don't like to drink alone because I'm stupid anyway, and drinking makes me more stupid and I kind of need someone to watch me on the off chance I decide to do something stupid and break something or something. Or hurt myself. Or get that weird nausea where I think I'm dying. And I'm like, "I'M NEVER GONNA DRINK AGAIN!" and then I totally drink again.

Sounds to me like you need a personal babysitter. Hurt yourself like how? Jumping off the bed and hoping you start flying??? Lol
