The French have been hardest on Muslim extremists. They have banned the face veil and arrested women who wear it.
They have tried (and failed) to protect cartoonists who poke fun at Mohammed, at Al-Queda, at ISIS, but many more cartoons against Muslim fanatics have been published in France today.
The French take a free Press very seriously, and many of the demonstrations have been FOR Press freedom.

In London, protests go to Trafalgar Square. In Cairo, Tahir Square. In Beijing...
