At least 11 Dead in Paris

the tv reports are saying that two of the cartoonists (one of them responsible for the mohammed cartoon) were on round the clock one-to-one protection. *shakes head*

two things:

as yet (that i've heard) no group has taken responsibility - does that say i think it isn't down to some muslim extremists? no. i'm keeping an open mind.

secondly, if another group wanted to fire things up in no uncertain terms, to direct further hate/action against all muslims by concentrating the idea in the non-muslim population that where there's trouble it's due to the muslim religion, this would be an effective way to do it.

whoever's responsible, it's a disgusting attack against people free to express their various views in print or by word of mouth in a non-violent manner.

How many people would have to die before the idiot brigade stopped treating it as a source of humor?

Based on recent historic events, I feel safe in saying the number is "less than 3000," but it's apparently higher than 11.

Wrong element, thanks for proving what I said to DessEnties in my other thread; you're not at war with Islam, you're at war with anyone whose "Islamophobic" in your mind. The real problem we have here is not the Religion of Peace, but those who refuse to accept it as nothing more than you see with Christianity. You never equate it with the Liberal extermination of 50 million+ babies...
