More poverty, more mental illness = more crime; more crime will naturally result in more deadly force by civilians and police. A poor person is naturally more likely to steal; a mentally ill person is naturally more likely to kill. In fact, it's hard for me to accept that any significant amount of murderers aren't mentally ill.

The great majority of poor people do not commit crimes. The great majority of mentally ill people do not commit crimes. The great majority of economically self-sufficient people do not commit crimes. The great majority of sane people do not commit crimes

Committing crime is an exception, not the norm, despite the sensationalistic craving of today's media-saturated environment.

America has now passed the 320 million population mark; the larger the norm becomes, the greater the number of exceptions becomes, too.

I am not a victim as I am not the one who was shot. The victims are the men who are killed by the police every day while chicks like the one in my opening post saunter around with guns pointing them at cops. Like it or not, there was no reason for the police to shoot the women in the second article as she had a DRILL.

I have privilege. I just have to use my public address voice and I get attention.

I can call our Member of Parliament, local Police Chief, our Mayor, several magistrates and judges, and get listened to politely and my concerns registered. That doesn't mean they will DO anything about them, but they will listen.

Apart from being white, as is the majority of my community, I have earned that privilege by working as best I can for our community by cooperation and persuasion over decades, and by trying to be reasonable.

There are other people in my community, most of whom are white and some who are not, who share my privilege. They too have earned it by supporting and working for the community.

Bumping this up again. I would like to see examples of any other demographic other than white women be taken into custody without incident or injury after shooting into occupied cars and pointing their him at the police. I never said they get away with everything. But they are the only ones who actually get away with this. Or prove me wrong. Show me a male of any race who did the same and didn't get beat down and didn't get shot. and I will revise my belief.
