An overlooked Icon.

And for all you doubters, all I can say is "BLANK-a-doodle-doo"

He's like the Hustler Magazine of talk radio.

You mean it was interesting when you were 14 because there were dirty words and boobs? But now, years later, it's just sad to see that it's still around...

Well that settles that.

*takes her boobs and dirty words and leaves*

I only clicked on this because I thought something horrible had happened to him.

The best interviewer in the biz.

Would he be if he didn't tastelessly attempt to interrogate almost every single guest on the most intimate details of their sex lives?

Because that is essentially what he became famous for, and I'm damned if I can see how arrogant incivility is mistaken for actual talent.

Upon further reflection, I think Stern could very well have been one of the great interviewers in the business. But that is giving him credit for the road not taken. He has generally forsaken the profound for the profane.

He deserves to be not taken seriously in light of that choice.

He has maybe 10 minutes of content in 2 hours and the rest is talking about the business of getting to the 10 minutes of content.

It is like reading a paper where the assignment is for a 1000 word essay and 980 words are filler.
