It's kinda strange what's affected. I noticed the problem when I tried to start up Dragon Age & it wouldn't get passed, "Trying to Connect to Server". When I tried to go to the PSN, I just got a blue screen with, "Cancel" in the left corner. When I tested my network connection, I was successful with IP address & Internet connection but failed at PSN Sign-In. I clicked on the, "Search Playstation.com support" button and had no problem loading up the webpage. Ironically, when I clicked on the PSN status, the website currently says that it's online. Amazon Prime video works so I know that I'm getting a connection. Hope this doesn't last.

It may well be the Lizard Squad, they've promised to disrupt both PSN and Xbox Live over the holidays using ddos attacks.

They did the same a few weeks ago too.

Or maybe everyone and their cousin just got a new console for Christmas and the sign-on servers are a bottleneck they didn't think of.

Welcome to every new Battle.net launch for the last six years.

Wow. Just got back home & it's still down. The annoying part is that I want to play Dragon Age single player but the game wants to connect to their servers first.

Just checked again & PSN is still down for me. Kinda amazed that they still have not been able to restore service yet.

Don't get me started on Blizzard. The WoD launch was horrendous.

The US servers going down was hackers, the EU servers going down was Blizzard fucking incompetence.

I mean the Sony kerfuffle now.

I thought Blizzard's problem all were them tripping over their own cables.
