Cowslinger asked me to share my thoughts if I saw this movie and I did, so here goes.

I have never seen the Broadway production, but now I so want to. It was Grimm and dark and well-cast and sooo entertaining. The different Grimm stories were wonderfully intertwined and not too Disneyfied. Johnny Depp did his thing as the big, bad wolf. Meryl Streep was everything I expected. Jack is played by the little boy from the film Les Mis (not as little anymore). My favorite bit was the song "Agony" performed by Prince Charming (Chris Pine who can sing) and his brother.

Oh! There's a nice little surprise for the Harry Potter geeks, too!!

If I could change anything, I'd maybe make it 30 minutes shorter. Maybe.
