Researchers, more than a decade ago, found that more fatal heart attacks occur on Christmas Day than any other day of the year. The 2nd busiest day is December 26th and the 3rd busiest is January 1st.

Be careful out there.

Thanks, but I already had one. If you've got the receipt maybe I can return it and get a kidney stone or something.

I wonder how many women kill their husbands on Christmas Eve. Not that I'm thinking about it or anything.

It might be the extra activity and different environments.

A lot of elderly people are hospitalized each xmas around here.

They live a quiet and sedate everyday life..... And then they meet with their families for the annual "eat and drink orgy"...... And eat a weeks worth of food and several months worth of drink in a single evening.

I got better.

"Bring out yer dead..."

My dad drove himself to the ER.

My dad was such a control freak he designed and printed his own funeral program including the date of death.

My brother the physician was over checking on him and said, "You know that they only estimating how long you have Now that you have discontinued the transfusions?"

Dad says, "No, it sounds about right."

He was unconscious before midnight the night before and died just barely on the day he predicted.

Hmmm, interesting question. I wasn't able to find the specific answer but Dec. is always the highest month for homicides.

Out here the rule of thumb is to NEVER go to a Mexican wedding, funeral, Christmas Eve party, or New Years party. It seems that Latin families and alcohol don't mix well.

I was driving home last night passed one of the upper middle class neighborhoods and there was the eerie indirect light of an ambulance flashing off the two story brick houses. Probably a Christmas gripper.

Good thing you have that high priced health insurance of yours, else you might've died (or been a burden on the rest of us taxpayers).
