This thread isn't just for Dominant women,

It's for any woman acquainted with a submissive man to share what she appreciates about his accommodating nature.

:)

Ready, steady, go!

His self-restraint
.........even as his whole body is hungering for something.

How he's always ready and willing to serve, whether it's making dinner after a long day or being ready with oil and candles for a massage after my shower.

Its something i would like to investigate.

Sweetie, this isn't a hookup thread. :rose:

I've been asked to start one...haven't yet, but when I do, it will be on the BDSM Personals board. ;)

You may enjoy contributing to my new thread, "Tell Us What You Like About Dominant Women,"
over on the BDSM Cafe'. :)

Good luck finding that special friend who's just right for you!

so that's.... six so far?

sorry for the smart assed remark; but does this thread terminate at 101, is that just a lower limit goal? A class number?

Maybe just a figure of speech.

I've been told submissive men give better massages.... an odd discrimination that I find particularly weird because massage time is dominant mode time for me.

There's got to be something said for availability though, to receive a massage at the snap of your fingers must be nice.

The thread title was inspired by one of my favorite threads on the PG, 101 Things We Love About The British. It was not meant to be taken as either a termination point or a lower limit.

Thank you for supporting this thread by posting on it and giving it a bump.:rose:

Feel free to post on the Dominant Women Appreciation thread. :)

FTR, I will gladly submit ;) to a massage regardless of which sort of man is offering.

Hehe... Yeah - But if it ends up being all about me I don't really care if he's in submissive mode or dominant mode;)

One of my FWBs/subs massages as a submissive activity, the other is not so submissive and needs to be given his head to explore my body and discover what feels good for me.
So he's actually as much dominant as submissive but he strongly identifies as a pleaser and his focus is very much on discovering and doing as much as he can to please me.

Oh yes.... I like that they like to please me:)

Enthusiasm and Imagination, not just something attractive in submissive men but any men or women.

Strength (not necessarily physical) coupled with vulnerability has always been a huge draw for me.

Thank you?

I've come around to "embrace the sluagh," as I've gotten older. Creepy doesn't have to mean bad.

I've been careful to log on lately though so as to be sure my ignore filters function properly... and I keep avs turned off because my computer is central in the house.... so I haven't seen my own av in ages.

I switched it to the broken doll when I started uncovering my memory problems, which spurred a pretty significant identity crisis. The broken doll kinda fit besides as I had been talking at the time about dolly fetishes.

maybe you could get dolly an eyepatch? preferably Hello Kitty. :D

{hug}

still morbid, but you're funny. :D

have to say, if I had a sub that started crying tears of blood from his empty eyeball sockets, it probably wouldn't make my Top Ten list of things I like about him, but hey-- it takes all kinds, right? ;)

thats a veeeery tall order for someone who associates with sluagh.

The "hush" part, we have in spades.

I thought you might. ;)

don't make me Google 'sluagh,' just tell me something that doesn't require me to call 911 after.

be gentle with me, i'm a beginner.:cattail:

I'm not sure my av updated properly earlier. Got it fixed now.

you've been very generous in waiting so that I can compulsively edit 2-3 times.... thank you.

I've got to be getting to bed myself now.

I may poke around at the possibility of some other AV tomorrow.

Sweet dreams.

no no no! keep this one--it's fab!!:rose:

you're an edit addict too?? ^5

sweet dreams, warped one.

Sluagh are faeries of old Gaelic origin, so they're found in Irish, Scottish, and for some reason Russian folklore, but other traditions have strikingly similar fairies as well. My primary exposure to them comes from a (now old) RPG called Changeling: the dreaming.

Sluagh are the bogeymen, and the keepers of secrets. They are adept at collecting sentimental treasures even among fae. The dreams where you find something you've lost, or else hunt fruitlessly for something misplaced, are carefully curated by them. Wallflowers by nature, they hear everything, are at home among shadows, and live in the cracks and causeways others have forgotten exist. Their song is the echo of water dripping, or of wordless sobbing in the distance. They are spirits of grief and sorrow much more than of fear.

"I do not fear the darkness," goes the sluagh battle whisper, "the shadows are afraid of me."

No, i didn't quote any of that from a book, that's all off the top of my head. (but I have run various white wolf games including Changeling for many years, much less since my daughter was born)

 uhhh.....i'll read this again, when I wake up and the wheels are turning.

looks very pretentious, just spilling it all out like that.

when I talk about "embracing being a sluagh," what that mainly means is, I'm a little creepy sometimes, but I'm increasingly ok with that.

I could go down a checklist of commonalities that I point to sluagh as the faerie I associate strongly with, (I'll spare you) chief among those points are talents my wife just shrugs off as sluagh magic, like squirming into places that you wouldn't expect a person to fit. I'm VERY good at hide & seek.

you sound like fun!:cattail: come and visit my blanket fort any time!!
