We in the UK have been under attack by terrorists before, particularly the IRA and its offshoots. Their attacks didn't change us - nor will the ranting of ISIS.

We are killing many more of them through air strikes than they are managing to even try to do. They are yelling that they will attack us because we are hurting them. That's just the British airstrikes. Add to those the US airstrikes, the Australians, and other allies, and ISIS is suffering real damage.

They are irrelevant and any attacks they or idiots who support them can do will have no lasting impact. If we could survive the Blitz of WW2, the naval shelling, Zeppelin and Gotha raids of WW1, anything ISIS could do would be less than a pinprick.

More people die each year from falling from ladders than from terrorist attacks. Many more people die because of drunk drivers than from falls from ladders, or from terrorist attacks, even though the UK has had more attacks since 9/11 than in the US.

The object of terrorists is to terrorise - to make us afraid. You seem more frightened of ISIS than anyone in the UK, so you can add 'Coward' to your list of titles.

A new video from Nigeria’s home-grown Boko Haram extremists shows gunmen mowing down civilians lying face down in a dormitory, and a leader saying they are being killed because they are ‘infidels’ or non-believers.

There are so many corpses the gunmen have difficulty stepping to reach bodies still twitching with life. Most appear to be adult men.

‘We have made sure the floor of this hall is turned red with blood, and this is how it is going to be in all future attacks and arrests of infidels,’ the group leader says in a message.

‘From now, killing, slaughtering, destruction and bombing will be our religious duty anywhere we invade.’

The video released to journalists late Saturday comes two days after fleeing villagers reported that the extremists are rounding up elderly people and killing them in two schools in Gwoza, in northeast Nigeria.

It is like Christians calling each other 'heretics' if you don't follow their version of Christianity, and yes, historically Christians killed many other Christians they described as 'heretics'.

If we were in a war like WW2, copying and distributing enemy propaganda unedited would have been the act of a traitor - so Sanity Sam is a traitor to his country.

And yes, I think some of the Western media is traitorous too. They relay too much ISIS propaganda and fall into ISIS publicity traps too easily.

We, and Sanity Sam, should retain a sense of proportion. Yes, ISIS are a threat. Yes, we should do more to combat them, but that more should be to show that they are a threat to Muslims worldwide. We are losing the propaganda war. We need to mobilise Muslims to combat ISIS propaganda, not damn all Muslims for the actions of a few. Sanity Sam frequently states that "All Moosefucks should be killed". Does that include all Muslim Americans?

I might not be wholly serious in accusing him of being a traitor but his posts can be taken as justification for ISIS claims that all the West is against all Muslims. If all Muslims were to believe that, we will have lost the war against ISIS and Al-Queda terrorism.

That is why the Australian response, no matter how or why it started, is a much better way of expressing contempt for ISIS and individual nutcases who parrot their propaganda.

The Allies conducted a propaganda war against the AXIS, and won it. We fucked with their heads time and time again.

We weren't as successful with propaganda in the Pacific Theater. The Doolittle raid was a real shock to the Japanese military who spent considerable effort looking for 'Shangri La' the mythical land base the Doolittle raid left from.

The Japanese propaganda machine was a joke. Toyko Rose was just laughable, unlike Lord Haw Haw for the Germans.
