Getting rid of C would solve a lot of problem and make the alphabet more newbie friendly.

S would handle all the S sounds and K would handle all the K sounds. We just use SH for CH so Charley is Sharley. If you use an El Paso accent it works.

We don't have to get rid of it, maybe just move it to another alphabet. Kamobodians use less than 26, The Shinese would not notice an addition, and the Russians kan always use another letter.

Maybe we should have a poll.
