Yes, it does!
If you were here I would get out the chicken broth.

My recommendation is chicken broth with garlic and ginger in it.
Warm showers, guaifenesin (mucinex/liquidbid) and whatever inhaler and antibiotic your dr might have given you.

Maybe add a small bit of sherry and tomato paste to the broth. for two cups 1 Tablespoon of each.

Wow, you've got that down pat.

I am taking an antibiotic and inhaler. He also gave me cough syrup that I don't really need, I kept the script. I might change my mind.

I am wheezing like hell.

Shit has codeine in it. I thought maybe it would help this brick on my chest.

It's not codeine, but I know of a better remedy that will soothe and soften those huge bricks on your chest.

*takes out bottle of massage oil*

They use the codeine in the cough syrup to slow down the coughs so you don't get spasms. Also the guaifenesin thins the mucus so the inhaler can work, otherwise mucus blocks it.

If you don't like the codeine get some plain mucinix.

Yep, I have it down pat, the trick is keeping it from going into pneumonia.

I'll join you in miseryville with my laryngitis.
Haven't had a voice for a couple of days, but it's starting to come back today. I sound all hoarse and breathy.

Hope you feel better soon :rose:

If you have bronchitis, then you are going to need some antibiotics. The first time I got it, I didn't realize that it was bronchitis. I just thought it was a pesky cough that I'd eventually get rid of. After 3 weeks, it got to the point that each cough rippled pain down my entire windpipe.

Is the syrup promethazine?

Is the syrup promethazine?

probably not that is used more for allergies, motion sickness, nausea and vomiting.

She probably has guaifenesin with codeine.

I don't turn codeine into morphine so all it does is make me feel like I am drowning ;)

I thought Promethazine with codeine was for a bad cough.

sorry, I misread what you wrote. It is for a cough if it's from an allergy, if Pink's on antibiotics she has a bacterial infection.

If it was I was going to tell her that promethazine is worth a lot of money.

I just couldn't breath and yes, I have an antibiotic. Thank you. :)
