I try to stick with Comanchero brand. It fts right in the budget these days. Except the price of ammo is rising, damn it.


The first Mopar I considered was a '66 Cuda with a 340 and a slushbox. If I had bought it, I might have become a small block person.


I got the yard tidied up today and got most of the fill added to the new raised bed. I was a good boy and quit when my back-n-hip started bitching about it.


I have a side job next weekend - personal stimulus, so to speak. Still waiting to hear back about the company's bid for more routes. One of those, should "we" get it, would go a long way toward easing the burden.

I heard a tea party rant last week from a warehouse manager whom I would have figured to be of Old Hippie stock, and still drinking the koolaid. But no, she informed me. Shows what I know sometimes.


I have for some reason saved a bunch of engine bits which are never going to get used again. Stuff like old camshafts have only scrap value. There is a recycling run in my near future.

Junior is a joy to know, and to watch. They shopped for this "house" for a long time, and they bought in the building across the street from where they are now.
