Hello members of Lit!

I just thought I'd write a quick self-introduction to say hello.

I've lurked around on this site for a fair few months now and really enjoyed it. So today I thought it was finally the time for me to take the plunge and create a profile so I can chat with you all :)

You can probably work out a bit about me just from my username and though I'm normally quite shy, I'm hoping that being on this site will help me to be a bit more open and confident in myself.

I'm really looking forward to making some new friends and exploring a new side of me so please be gentle haha.

Anyway, I hope I haven't bored you! :D

Well, welcome to Lit!

You may want to avoid the General Board and the Politics Board, as the folks there are... somewhat more prickly. Not at all a nice place for a shy individual.

The rest of the boards have loads of very nice folk, so feel free to dive right in, say hello and start interacting.

At the end of the day, remember it's just a website, so enjoy yourself & have fun.

Shall I extend a personal invitation to visit the Playground?

There's even a special UK thread, not to mention all the swell 'game' threads designed to get folks to interact with each other.

Is the Playground just another board to chat on? And I'll be sure to check out these 'games' you mention :)

Just watch out for assholes and trolls out to make you feel bad. Figure out how to put the troublesome ones on ignore
