"I do not need to read the report to know that the Democratic staff alone wrote it. The Republicans checked out early when they determined that their counterparts started out with the premise that the CIA was guilty and then worked to prove it.

Pretty much. There are no "recommendations" which make the report 100% political.

They had no thought as to the consequences of that report and the reverberations are already starting to come home to roost.

It's an ugly world out there with a war being fought by shadow warriors in a shadow world. The enemy is utterly remorseless, hiding in plain sight and attacking non-combatants as they attempt to spread their doctrine of terror. Intelligence gathering is the key and this report has made that considerably more difficult, particularly in gaining support and help from allies. It has also needlessly put American and American allies lives at risk for no other reason that to make a political point.

Apparently the democrats want to be content with a "Bunker Mentality" and every nation that has ever done that has lost.
