Pressure to spend too much money unnecessarily. Folks being nice one day out of the year cos there's fucking tinsel up then being cunts the rest of the year, people putting a gun to your head and insisting you MUST HAVE FUN, getting crushed by greedy fuckers in supermarkets cos the world is gonna fucking end if they don't clear the bloody shelves. Etc etc. I just kinda ignore it and get on with doing my own thing.

Both trees are up; 4' tree in living room table and main tree in common area

mantle is decorated, wreaths on front doors are up, garland winding up circular staircase

wraparound porch has icicle lights strung, lights on cedar tree in backyard too!

there are a few wrapped prezzies under main tree and I wrapped & hid 4 prezzies earlier today

already bought turkey, leg of lamb & standing rib roast
now to figure out rest of menu
