I've been dating a new Bf for nearly 3 months. We have a budget of roughly $100 for christmas presents, and I'd like to get something that will be around for awhile. He doesn't wear jewelry or watches. He did ask for either a pizza stone or boning knife.
He's a fairly sentimental and romantic guy, and we both have hopes for the longterm. Otherwise he's into meterology, cooking, and knowledge. I was thinking of getting a key chain engraved with the word "taken" on it. He's more low key and doesn't get too dressed up. If we were reversed and I was buying for a woman, I'd get one of those Pandora charms or a necklace or somesuch.
So guys.. (and ladies) .. what would be a sweet and long lasting gift without breaking the bank?
Thanks.
three months? he'd be lucky to get a box of chocs!
Get whatever he tells you.
I hate wasting money, so if you are getting something from me, you will send me a link to what you want.
The subbie bf is getting a keychain.
Rabbit's foot?
Only after he serves up some hasenpfeffer.
I always heard it was bad form to give a knife as a gift.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm getting a pizza stone, and I just found a boning knife, just was trying to figure out something a bit more romantic. And yes.. I rarely repost.. as the answers always seem to get so silly it doesn't seem worth it. But for the first few serious answers, thanks!
I was serious about the pizza stone. A co-worker got us a gift card to a swanky department store for a wedding present over twenty years ago. We decided to get something kitchen-y and got these stones. 5 kids and many happy memories of dad with making pizzas it was well worth it.
Lost the wife, kept the stones.
Maybe he mentioned it because he sees a need for disarticulating joints in his future.
