SPOILER ALERT SO BE FORWARNED.

Ok, is it a bootstrap paradox? Earth dies out but gets help from future Earthlings for folk to survive? How does that work, these guys tried hard to get the science right.

If the future Earthlings evolved into 5D beings, why would they bother to set this up back in time? Move along folks, no story here.

Why didn't McConaughey say "Alright, alright, alright" on liftoff?

So many unanswered questions.

The robots are cool, though.

word, those robots were pretty rad.

i always find it weird that in movies, when the earth goes to shit the survivors somehow have better and cooler tech than we have now.
happens all the time

All I could think of was what kind of vacuum cleaner should I get for my doomsday bunker.

why would you find that weird? i mean the idea is that the earth goes to shit IN THE FUTURE, right? so isn't it logical that IN THE FUTURE the technology might be BETTER?

like, even if its only 20 years from now that the world ends think about what technology looked like 20 years ago. it was a pretty big difference. and what you're able to observe is only from the consumer standpoint. there are people working on things RIGHT NOW that are mindblowing.
