I always use my iPhone to cruise LIT, am I able to attach pictures that are not links? Can't figure it out, and maybe I can't with an iPhone.....please help!

You have to upload it as an attachment to the post. There is a button, Manage Attachments, click on that. There are size restriction.

Max. file size is 100KB

Max. width/height 800 x 600

You want to display a bigger image you have to do it as a hot link from a website.

That should put a link at the bottom of the post, not the picture. When you upload the picture, there will be link provided. Copy the link between the image tags by clicking the insert image button above the edit message box, so the pic will display.

attachment.php

Look at this message code.

iPhone pictures are too high a resolution to attach to a post without editing to reduce them by at least 75% (half the pixels in both directions.) You need to upload the pictures to a site that doesn't restrict image sizes or download them to a computer that can edit them before posting.

^^^^ or that.

(I am not an iPhone owner)

1. You can upload pics from an iPhone to Lit, but only one per post.

2. To resize an image to post, I use a free image sizing app. I'm sure there are quite a few to choose from; mine is SimpleResize.

3. If you want to post more than one image to a post, you'll have to host to an external site, or load images (up to 5 per post) via your desktop.

4. Make sure you turn off location services on your photo settings. I am fairly sure Lit strips that data upon upload, but I do it anyway to be on the safe side.

Good luck! Happy to help more if you need it.
