Anyone watch Homeland season 3 or Boardwalk Empire season 5?

The lead female character finds herself in a mental institution during the 1950's. She isn't exactly crazy. And she's not a bad person. But an unfortunate event caused her to be locked up with other crazy people.

The person who runs the institution is somewhat of an obsessive scientist & researcher. He thinks he's a good man. He wants to help the women any way he can. But it's the 1950's and mental health is very misguided.

The scientist has long conversations with the female lead in his office. He sympathies with her. He knows she's not crazy, but he has to be sure. His rational is that she's in there for a reason.

He gives her a medical check up, from head to toe. Just like all of the other patients. She hates it and later tries to escape.

The scientist feels the need to punish her for trying to break out, saying it's a danger to her, and to society, and it's against the law. He decides to discipline her. He ties her to the medical table and spanks her. She cums.

He's shocked by what he sees. He's never seen a female orgasm before. She's never experienced an orgasm either. They both find something like they like. And they continue it during his late night 'research.'

Thoughts? Ideas?

That sounds super hot. The only negative is the distinct lack of sex toys in the 50's.

What if she doesn't orgasm? He stops just a bit early, not realizing her situation, she is too embarrassed to ask. She stays and tries to get in trouble just to have him repeat her treatment.

You should look up the history of electrical vibrators. Many a doctor made a decent living ministering to 'female hysteria'.

Yes, the vibrator and dildos and other sextoys date back many years, but there still wasn't access to the kind of sex toys that are available now. Many of which are quite fun. Now maybe the doctor is a freak and has made it his mission to accumulate the finest collection of sex toys in the western hemisphere and use them on his patients...

Missing the point, female hysteria was relieved by using a vibrator. Not what they were called but still what it was. There was actually research done on this, and there was a standard 'practice' when treating for hysteria. Pumping of the device was done, and his off hand would rub on the outside. :D

Honestly, most of the hysteria patients probably didn't get many orgasms any other way. Think of the time, playing with yourself wasn't done by most and the husband was told to ride to his orgasm since that is all that matters. Guys being guys, mostly didn't bother to do anything except speed to his finish.

In a long winded way, what I am saying is that any doctor had the equipment to treat for hysteria, especially in a mental institution. Fairly sure hysteria was still treated in the crazy house into the sixties or seventies. Mostly because the woman would calm down. ;)

Indeed special ed schools and rehab centers I know because I lived though it were fascinated by disabled sexuality. I don't mean that abuse took place. The rehab process was undertaken in a very sexual manner

Hopefully your school wasn't, though.
