what do cat tracks look like in the snow?

Yep, upstairs cat is out there. I see tracks that are also in a straight line which I thought could be hers.

Oh they can be in a straight line, I picked that picture because it looks like common house cat tracks. I think the photographer got the cat to be zigzaggy and artsy.:)

Good luck finding your kitty.:rose:

she seems to living in the double garage and doesn't want back, howeverwhen it gets -6 tomorrow she may change her mind.

I would help, if I could. But my old cat won't touch anything but dry catfood. If I offer her anything out of a can, she seems to be insulted. To her, it appears I forgot to buy her her regular food. Then she gets all mouthy and pissy to show her displeasure with my lack of cat attentiveness. Diva

She passes up Tuna fish?

yep AND canned cat food and any kind of 'people food'. She looks at me as though I'm offering her something someone just puked up. She's always been weird. And, at 15 yrs old, I doubt she'll change.

okay, I think the sound I just heard was that looney cat trying to climb back up the house/screens to the second floor. It's 6F outside and the wind chill is -9F. She was of course gone by the time I got outside and around the house, and my neighbor isn't home yet. I lost the tracks in the alley.

House cat?

Little cat prints unless the snow melts or other beasts disrupt the prints. Also the type of snow and depth can make a difference.

I once saw tracks almost just like this, made out of powdery substance, seemingly coming up from the basement of my apartment building. Except there were only 3 toes. And they were pointier. And the prints were huge. Bigger than my hand, with a very long stride, appearing bipedal. I havent gone down there since. True story.

Cats are weird. My old cat used to love spicy food. One of the ones I have now loves cheese, and anything salty; the other one won't touch people food, but eats dryer lint. (No joke.)

So go figure.

One Internet point to you for use of "bipedal."
