As incredible as it sounds, it went something like this-
S. an 18 year old cyber punk opened the original account, posing as a skinny bisexual woman. Posting photos of "slender angels", writing stories, and encouraging others to share their personal experiences of being raped with "her". Oh, sure, S. was exposed, but he just denounced his detractors as haters and jealous fatties. Half the people here didn't believe that KK was a fraud. So Karen Kraft remained. Somewhere along the way his dad, K. ( an attorney) took over the account and got political with it. He also started sharing tomato seeds ( maybe he wanted real addresses. who knows? ) He also hired N, a would be actress to read some lines and to use her pictures here to "prove" Karen Kraft was real.

Probably the most bizarre episode in Lit history.

I think he's referring to the fact that you could never post that name without it being asterisked out, long before the whole Karen is Ken thing came to light.
